A sister of Dr.Jazz Bar is in Dusseldorf Altstat, where Lutfıye visited the Boat show almost every year since 1983. She then came to love the Dr. Jazz Bar even before she had no idea about having a bar of her own.

When that idea arose in 1992, of course Jazz was the first choice. She got the permission of the owner of Dr.Jazz (Ms. Lis Dassen who is a well known Jazz singer) in Dusseldorf for carrying the same name. By the way, both had become close friends. The start of Dr.Jazz in Gocek was a fact.

Dr.Jazz mostly features classical music till noon that, perfect to have a good coffee and reading books, newspapers and looking around. Later, it slowly starts to become JAZZ, blues and other slow nice music. Normally it is a calm atmosphere but one can never know when it turns out to a dancing party or piano night itself.

It is surrounded by a garden setting, almost as as a secret place. Through Dr Jazz, you can see Gocek in a different perspective. It is like a bridge changing ideas, plans and perspectives from your prior life to the future.
